Datil Pepper Festival in St. Augustine

Dat’s Nice Hot Sauce is proud to announce setting up as a vendor in the 6th Annual Datil Pepper Festival. The hot pepper sauce festival and cook-off will be held from 11am to 2pm on October 6th and 7th at the St. Johns County Agricultural Center, 3125 Agriculture Center Drive located just off I-95 and SR-16 in St. Augustine, and admission and parking are free.

Saturday features the Professional Cook-off and Sunday will host the Amateur Sauce Contest. This is a family-friendly event that features music, a datil pepper sauce contest; vendors like Dat’s Nice Hot Sauce selling their yummy datil pepper sauces and of course, lots of great food from participating chefs and restaurants. Every year thousands attend the Datil Pepper Festival. This is an exciting event for St. Augustine because it promotes the preservation of our local culinary heritage!

Slow Food First Coast, The University of Florida Extension Service, World Golf village and one of our favorites, Endorphin Farms, are some of this year’s top sponsors of this fun event as are many fine local St. Augustine Restaurants.
