Chicken Tenders with Dat's Nice Chickin Dippin Honey Sauce
Extra crispy chicken tenders with a delightful variation of Dat's Nice Chickin Dippin Sauce, adding sour cream and honey. Lip smackin' good!
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 cups Italian bread crumbs or half bread crumbs and half Panko crumbs
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1½ pounds chicken tenderloins
- ⅓ cup sour cream
- 5 tablespoons Dat’s Nice Chickin Dippin Sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400
- Place flour in a flat bottom bowl and beaten egg in a second
- Season both with salt and pepper
- Pulse bread crumbs and oil in a food processor until fine crumbs form Transfer to a third shallow bowl.
- Coat chicken first in flour, shaking off excess; then with egg, and finally in crumb mixture, pressing to help it adhere.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake until brown and cooked through, turning over halfway through (about 15 minutes).
- In a bowl, mix together sour cream, Chickin Dippin Sauce and honey.
- Serve tenders with Honey Chickin Dippin on the side.
