The 2nd Annual Florida Key Lime Pie Festival

We’re Going!

The Florida Key Lime Pie Company is presenting the 2nd Annual Florida Key Lime Pie Festival on Saturday, January 19th, 2013 from 10am until 8pm. The event will be held at Riverfront Park in Historic Cocoa Village which is centrally located along Florida’s Space Coast in Sharpes, Florida.

This event will include all kinds of good Florida vittles from savored restaurants, each showcasing dishes reflecting Florida’s infamous citrus favorite… the Key Lime. There will be (all relevant to the Key Lime) Florida arts and crafts, live music, 98.5 radio broadcasting, shows, entertainment, demonstrations and presentations, as well as all kinds of contests such as:

  • Miss Florida Key Lime Pie

  • Florida Key Lime Pie Eating

  • The Best of Florida’s Bartenders competing for the best

    • Key Lime Pie Martini and

    • Key Lime Pie Margarita

Last but not least, the BIG reason we’ll be attending is the Key Lime Chilihead’s Hot Sauce Competition. Dat’s Nice Hot Sauce is entered in the competition and will have plenty of  Datil Pepper Hot Sauce available for everyone.

There will be judging for Best in Flavor and  Best in Heat. We’ll be set up to enter the contest and to sell our awesome sauces.
